Ms. Tori McGee Tori McGee is an English and journalism teacher at Apex High School and is completing her fifteenth year of teaching. She loves spending time with her husband and baby boy, attending NCSU sporting events, and reading. She is the daughter of two educators and have been teaching for fifteen years. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends and have an affinity for pineapples and all things sweet!
Ms. Nicole Dozier, Apex Mayor Tempore

Nicole Dozier joined the NC Justice Center in 1996 in the role of Senior Litigation Paralegal-Hyatt Coordinator of the Hyatt project for Class Counsel after having worked for seven years as a disability specialist with the Social Security Administration’s state agency. This class action, Hyatt v. Barnhart, of over 144,000 individuals was brought against the Social Security Administration. Nicole’s work has helped secure hundreds of millions of dollars in benefits for people in North Carolina living with disabilities. She has also worked with Justice Center litigators on consumer class actions and other impact litigation.
In 2007, Nicole became the Assistant Project Director of the Health Advocacy Project, spearheading the effort to keep organizations and individuals engaged around health care reform by holding community forums and presenting at meetings and events across the state. Nicole became a Co-Director of the project in 2014 and sole Director in 2016. Nicole received a BA in Industrial Relations with Sociology Concentration from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1988 and is featured in the university’s Women with Moxie Oral History Project. She has been a NC State Bar certified paralegal for over 14 years and currently serves as the Mayor Pro Tempore of the Apex Town Council.
Nicole’s current community involvement also includes: Cary Magazine Women of Western Wake (2017); NC Advocates for Justice who named her Disability Advocacy Section Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient (2012); NC Secretary of State Advisory Council to Combat Counterfeit Medication; NC Council of Churches Governing Board; HOA Legislative Action Chair.

Mr. Greg Coley

Greg Coley is a Territory Sales Representative for Sirtex Medical who has lived in Apex, NC for 24 years. Greg was involved in bettering the Apex community by participating as Chairman of the Apex Parks and Recreation Board. During this time, he was involved with promoting and developing plans for the Apex Skate Park as well as the upcoming Pleasant Park. Greg was also awarded Apex Citizen of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce in 2017. Greg currently serves as president of the CAPS (Citizens for Apex Parks) board. He also serves as a youth leader for Apex United Methodist Church and participates in the Apex adult softball league. When Greg is not in Apex you can count on him attending sporting events at his alma mater, NC State University.
